13. Stay vigilant, even in good times.
When a business is cruising along, I think the question leaders should be asking is, “Why aren’t we hitting stumbling blocks?” Most of the time, the things that make us stumble are those we don’t or can’t foresee. The key is looking at them through a problem-solving lens and being able to quickly pivot.
