
Holly Woods
Holly is a Human Resources (HR) professional with more than 18 years of experience in various capacities of HR. She is ready to share her expertise in all areas of HR including but not limited to Employee and Labor Relations, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition and Management, Training and Development, HRIS, and more.
Holly previously served as the Director of Total Rewards for both Cleveland State University and Cuyahoga County. Holly lead these organization’s benefits, wellness, and compensation initiatives, ensuring that the Total Rewards were strategic, compliant, in alignment with best practices, and met the needs of the organization to attract and retain talent.
Prior to her Total Rewards leadership roles, Holly served in various areas of HR at the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District (NEORSD). Her tenure at NEORSD included leadership in Employee & Labor Relations, as well as roles served in Talent Acquisition, HRIS, and overall HR Generalist work. Her 12 years of experience at NEORSD included managing/leading staff, developing and implementing strategic initiatives, and various responsibilities ensuring that the Human Resources division was comprehensively serving the needs of the organization.
Holly’s experience in both Union and Non-Union environments, as well as public sector employment, has provided her with the skills, abilities, and personal suitability to work with managers and employees, no matter the environment, challenges, and/or circumstances. Having spent most of her career in Employee & Labor Relations and Total Rewards, she is very familiar with some of the most complex areas and initiatives in HR.
When she’s not working, you can find Holly spending time with her family, hiking, traveling, watching her daughters compete in soccer and basketball, or engaging in whatever adventures presents itself. She is an avid CrossFit athlete and her and her husband run a Pop-Up kitchen called Pink Flamingo Pop-Up.
