It’s the season of holiday parties and last minute planning. For our friends in Cleveland, here are some of the best venues for office events, in no particular order.
- Great Lakes Science Center
601 Erieside Ave, Cleveland, OH 44114

Not everyone is a single bachelor/ette who can stay out til tomorrow afternoon. Many companies see themselves as families and get to know the actual families of their families. If you’re looking to throw a holiday party for a workplace rife with parents, maybe find a venue that caters to that.
The Great Lakes Science Center has plenty of options for group bookings, and venue space while remaining engaging and fun for kids. While it may not be a “party” per se, your workers will appreciate the consideration as well as the free outing for their family.
- Hale Farm & Village
2686 Oak Hill Rd, Bath, OH 44210
www.wrhs.org/hfv-corporate-events/
Managed by the Western Reserve Historical Society, which runs several fantastic venues, Hale Farm’s Gatehouse caters to warm gatherings. Their wonderful, more open-air venues, may not be great for this time of year, but we always keep Hale Farm in mind when planning company events.
- Mahall’s 20 Lanes
13200 Madison Ave, Lakewood, OH 44107
Everybody bowls, even people who don’t like bowling. The key is finding a bowling alley that allows you and your employees to have fun without other people’s noise (and children) getting in the way. Mahall’s has those private rooms, equipped with bars, that you can relax in and debate whether or not to have the bumpers up.
- Great Lakes Brewing Company Tasting Room
2701 Carroll Ave, Cleveland, OH 44113

Great Lakes Brewing Company is a great place to visit anyway, why not book it for your Christmas Party? Throughout Cleveland, you’ll find breweries and independent brewing companies, but so few of them can fit 200 people into a single venue. GLBC has several options of space, able to handle groups of any size, with a food and drink selection sources entirely from local companies.
- Rock & Roll Hall of Fame
1100 E 9th St, Cleveland, OH 44114
www.rockhall.com/visit/rent-rock
Any list of Cleveland hotspots has to include the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. We’ve all been there. The Hall of Fame has the obvious tours, and shows, and food, but they also have several choices of packages that partner with other Cleveland companies to provide a variety of food options and live entertainment. So if you want to take your people out, do something, watch something, then get the party started, the Rock and Roll HoF is what you’re looking for.
- The Arcade Cleveland
401 Euclid Ave, Cleveland, OH 44114

If you’re searching for a holiday party venue, you’ve probably seen lots pictures of rows of chairs facing a projector screen in those conference rooms with the felt walls on rails that section off the rooms. Those are great, but if you’re looking for a venue that’s stunning, the Arcade Atrium at the Hyatt in Cleveland is where it’s at. They have rooms with views, bars, and more.
- English Oak Room at Tower City Center
230 W Huron Rd #7273, Cleveland, OH 44113
www.towercitycenter.com/store/The-English-Oak-Room/2138791397/
The best thing about Tower City Center is the options. Here is this season’s Cleveland Cavs home schedule. Already sporting tons of dining and event options, including their own shows, Tower City Center is adjacent to Progressive Stadium. Just saying.
- House of Blues Cleveland
308 Euclid Ave, Cleveland, OH 44114
www.houseofblues.com/cleveland/events
Holiday Office parties can be terrible. You know that- you’re 8 venues into this list. You’re looking for something awesome. The House of Blues is awesome. It offers the largest capacity on this list and is the best possible idea for companies that want to party. However, we’re talking about a potential concert here. Make sure you have a group that’s up for it.
- Urban Farmer Cleveland
1325 E 6th St, Cleveland, OH 44114
https://urbanfarmercleveland.com/private-events/
The Urban Farmer is perfect for smaller groups, with a high-end menu and a far more intimate setting than some of the other venues on this list. Their private rooms are elegantly furnished but unpretentious. Their menu remains familiar with a conspicuous quality. For smaller companies or employers who want to really show their appreciation in a personal setting, the Urban Farmer may be the best choice.
- The Greenhouse Tavern
2038 E 4th St, Cleveland, OH 44115
https://eventup.com/venue/the-greenhouse-tavern/
If you couldn’t tell, we’re big on local Cleveland businesses, and recently went to a pretty great one- The Greenhouse Tavern. It’s “just” a great restaurant, and it’s in the middle of everything else on East 4th. With so many options, and so much going around, the energy of your employees on this holiday outing is sure to be up. Get some delicious food, see a show, there is so much to do.
You’re looking for ideas for an office holiday party, but you’re also looking for something exciting, and fun that will express to your employees (and everyone else) how much you value them. So many people dread spending time with their co-workers after hours, but it doesn’t need to be boring, especially not in Cleveland.
